About

After beginning my career on Wall Street in the early 1980s, I transitioned into mortgage lending in 1989. A year later, I founded Entertainment Mortgage, a company built specifically to serve borrowers in the entertainment industry.

At the time, many professionals in film, television, and music earned income in ways that didn't fit traditional lending guidelines. They moved from project to project, worked for multiple employers, received a combination of W-2 and self-employed income, and often found that lenders struggled to understand their financial picture.

I saw an opportunity to help.

Over the years, I became known for working with borrowers whose finances were more complex than a simple paycheck. While the industries have changed, the challenge remains the same: many financially strong people don't fit neatly into traditional underwriting boxes.

Today, I work with self-employed borrowers, freelancers, retirees, real estate investors, and others whose income may come from multiple sources. My role is not simply to find a loan program. It is to understand the complete financial picture and help identify financing strategies that support my clients' goals.

What makes this work especially rewarding is that every situation is different. One borrower may have substantial assets but little traditional income. Another may own a successful business while showing modest taxable income. A retiree may be deciding between pension options, while an investor is focused on cash flow and long-term growth.

These are the situations I enjoy solving.

With more than three decades of experience in finance, real estate, and mortgage lending, I bring both analytical thinking and practical experience to every conversation. My goal is to make the mortgage process understandable, reduce unnecessary stress, and help clients make informed decisions with confidence.

I believe a mortgage should support a broader financial strategy—not just solve an immediate financing need.

If you'd like to discuss your situation, I'd be happy to help.
